We are Mutaforma, a four-handed design studio in continuous exploration.

After meeting during their university studies, they began working together by participating in numerous competitions, training their elastic capacity by developing ideas on the border between utility and narration. 

After studying at the Polytechnic of Milan they moved to New York City as assistants to Gaetano Pesce at his workshop. Returned to Italy they decided to start their own studio under the name Mutaforma.

Their name expresses to the maximum the desire to carry forward a constantly changing design method, the mutation is reflected in their reading of reality and translates into products that alter it, finding an interspace between what is functional and what is narrative and eloquent.

Mutaforma's work is based in northern Italy, between Milan and Como.
